AEW International Champion Kenny Omega teamed up with “Speedball” Mike Bailey, Kevin Knight, and Mark Briscoe to take on Ricochet and The Elite’s Matthew Jackson, Nicholas Jackson, and AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada. The tension between these eight men has been building over the past few weeks, with Briscoe defeating Ricochet in singles action and The Young Bucks claiming victory over Bailey and Knight in tag team competition during the previous episode of Dynamite.

In another exciting matchup, AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm faced off against Miyu Yamashita in an Eliminator Match. This marked Yamashita’s return to the AEW ring after her unsuccessful challenge against Thunder Rosa for the title back in 2022. A win for Yamashita would grant her another shot at Storm’s coveted championship.
2025 Men’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament Semifinals
The stakes were high as Will Ospreay awaited the winner of the semifinals match between “Hangman” Adam Page and Kyle Fletcher. Fletcher secured his spot in the bout by defeating Briscoe in the quarterfinals, while Page emerged victorious against wild card entrant Josh Alexander, who is also a member of Fletcher’s Don Callis Family stable.
MJF and The Hurt Syndicate Drama
MJF and The Hurt Syndicate were at the center of attention as MVP, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin once again turned down MJF’s offer to join their stable. In a last-ditch effort, MJF handed over the keys to his car to Lashley and Benjamin, only to be left behind as the AEW World Tag Team Champions drove off without him.
