Gunther‘s Response to Facing Pat McAfee at WWE Backlash
In the aftermath of his attack on Michael Cole and Pat McAfee during his match with Jey Uso at WrestleMania 41, Gunther found himself facing a fine and an indefinite suspension.
During the latest episode of WWE RAW, McAfee delivered a passionate speech addressing the incident and challenged Nick Aldis to lift Gunther’s suspension. While Aldis refused to do so, he did offer McAfee a match against Gunther at Backlash, a challenge that McAfee wasted no time in accepting.
Upon learning of the match announcement, Gunther took to social media this morning to share his reaction. In a tweet accompanied by two emojis and the Backlash graphic, Gunther expressed his feelings about the upcoming showdown.
In response to the matchup, Gunther posted, “*Crying laughing emoji* *Dead emoji*,” showcasing his initial thoughts on the situation.
