Early Life
Roman Reigns was born on May 25, 1985, in Pensacola, Florida. He comes from a family with a strong wrestling background, as he is a member of the legendary Anoa’i wrestling family. Reigns played football during his college years at Georgia Institute of Technology and later went on to play professionally in the NFL for the Minnesota Vikings and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Wrestling Career
Reigns made his WWE debut in 2012 as a member of The Shield, alongside Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins. As part of The Shield, Reigns quickly rose to prominence in the WWE, winning numerous championships and accolades. In 2015, Reigns won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship for the first time, solidifying his status as a top star in the company.
