Steve Austin Addresses In-Ring Status Ahead of WWE WrestleMania 41
During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, wrestling legend “Stone Cold” Steve Austin set the record straight about his potential return to the ring. When asked about the possibility of stepping back into the squared circle, Austin made it clear that he has moved on from his wrestling career.
He stated, “I don’t think about anything like that. I’ve kind of moved on down the road. And don’t get me wrong, the competitive side of me, which kind of transfers into the racing that I’m doing now that you spoke of, you know, I want to be the best at everything that I do.”
While acknowledging his competitive nature and watching current WWE Superstars like Kevin Owens in action, Austin emphasized that he believes the time is now for the younger generation of wrestlers. He expressed confidence in the current roster and the growth of the business, indicating that he has no plans to make a return to the ring.
Despite asserting that he could still “whip some ass,” Austin made it clear that he is content with his current endeavors and does not feel the need to compete in WWE again. His focus now is on supporting and inspiring the next generation of talent.
As fans eagerly anticipate WWE WrestleMania 41, Steve Austin’s comments serve as a reminder of his legacy in the industry and his respect for the up-and-coming stars who are carrying the torch forward.
