Early Life
Jacob Fatu was born on March 28, 1990, in San Francisco, California. He comes from a famous Samoan wrestling family, being the son of Sam Fatu, also known as The Tonga Kid, and the nephew of Eddie Fatu, known as Umaga.
Wrestling Career
Jacob Fatu began his wrestling career in 2012, training at the Wild Samoan Training Center, run by his uncle, Afa Anoa’i. He made his professional wrestling debut in 2012, working for various independent promotions before signing with Major League Wrestling in 2018.
In MLW, Fatu quickly rose to prominence and became a dominant force in the promotion. He captured the MLW National Openweight Championship in 2019 and went on to win the MLW World Heavyweight Championship in 2020, holding the title for a record-breaking 819 days.
In 2021, Jacob Fatu signed with WWE and made his debut on the SmackDown brand. He has since become a fan favorite, showcasing his incredible athleticism and power in the ring. In a short amount of time, he captured the WWE United States Championship, solidifying his status as a top star in the company.
